3 Tips for Valentine’s Decorating
Use live plants
Part of the joy of live plants in your home is they go with every season and add an earthy natural feel to any interior design elements or home furnishings. Incorporate plants into your Valentine’s-themed space with thick greenery like Boston Ferns or Spider Plants.
Choose a few main colors
Your color palette is what your eyes will grab onto and keeping a few main colors the same through the space will help pull the look together. I used light pink and dark red as anchor colors in my space, with white sprinkled throughout.
Use varied textures
Don’t use all paper decorations or the space will look one-dimensional. Add texture by using varied media like lace strips, twinkle lights around the ceiling, dangling paper hearts, and feathers.
